Worship

Worship is the heartbeat of our life together as a Church.

This is where we are resourced as Christians. But equally it is where we express our love, praise and gratitude to God for all that he has given to us in creation, for all that he has done for us in the death and resurrection of Jesus and for all that he continues to share with us through the gift of his Spirit in and through the Church. Ultimately worship needs no further justification and it is right that we give of our best in time and resources to offer fitting worship to God.

Many people contribute in so many ways to the worship at All Saints and in the Chapel of SS Mary and John: some like sacristans, cleaners and flower arrangers behind the scenes. Others, like the Choir, the Servers, the Welcoming Stewards, the Readers, the Intercessors, the clergy and the Licensed Lay Ministers in more public “up-front” roles. But worship is above all a corporate activity. We need each other, both our presence and our prayer, if our worship is to be uplifting and so give glory to God and to encourage one another.If you would like to join us in our worship please click on the Services button to find a service to suit you.
