Mothers' Union
Mothers' Union
The Mothers' Union meets on the third Tuesday in the month at 2.00pm at King Edward's Hall unless otherwise stated on the calendar.
We are a new and active group that meet in the afternoon for fellowship, discussions and talks. New members are welcome whether you male or female, whatever your age. The only requirement for membership is that you are a baptised member of the Church of England.
Our younger members group is called Families First and meet in the evening at 8pm on the last Wednesday of the month at the Parsonage. Information for this group can also be found under the Nurture Group/young mums.
We are involved in Deanery events and fundraising for the Mothers' Union worldwide.
Lady Day celebrations for the Deanery this year were held at All Saints, Ascot Heath. All branches across the Deanery attended and consequently the Deanery have asked if they could hold a meeting at All Saints to learn about the wall paintings and their restoration. This will be held on Wednesday 22nd June at 2pm. All are welcome.
We are a growing branch and currently have 13 members. Please see further information below regarding the Mothers' Union aims and objectives and how to become a member. If you would like to join our local branch please contact our branch leader Revd Rosie Webb on 01344 890198 or via the Parish Office on 01344 884686
