A Happy New Year to everyone that I have not had chance to speak to yet – I hope that you had a peaceful Christmas and found time to enjoy the festive season

Please arrange “swaps” amongst yourselves in the normal manner – if anyone is not able to arrange a swap, then please contact me in the last instance as there a several experienced Sidesmen who can offer emergency cover but cannot be on the full-time rota.

I am pleased to announce that Tina Bird has agreed to join the rota, and we look forward to seeing her on duty shortly. It would be good to have another three to four new members of the team, if you have any recommendations for anyone that would make a good Sidesman, I would be very happy to receive them and will approach them directly.
