Fr Darrell became Rector of All Saints in February of 2008. He previously served parishes in Birmingham and Oxford. Prior to his ordination, and during his first years as a priest, he also had an academic career. He held teaching or research posts in New Testament and early Christianity at the universities of Sheffield, Birmingham and Oxford. He is married to Linda, a violinist and violin teacher. They have one son, Michael, who was born in 2009. Darrell is an American and hails from Seattle. Linda is a Swede and her hometown is Skellefteå.
The Revd Dr Patrick Gilday Curate
Fr Patrick came to Ascot to be our curate in 2014. Prior to training for ordination, he was a musician and musicologist, and at one time worked for the NHS in Hampshire. Patrick is married to Lydia, a university lecturer, and they have one daughter, Madeleine.
Sheila Shrigley Licensed Lay Minister & Pastoral Care Co-Ordinator
Sheila holds the Bishop's Licence as a Lay Minister (Lay Reader), and co-ordinates the Pastoral Care Team in the parish. By background Sheila is a research librarian and, before retiring in 2007, worked in scientific and medical libraries. She is always happy holidaying on a Greek island.
Ellen Turtle Licensed Lay Minister & Families Ministry Co-Ordinator
Ellen is a Licensed Lay Minister (Lay Reader), and is training for ordination to the priesthood. She leads the parish's ministry among families. Originally from Birmingham, Ellen grew up in Singapore but returned to the UK to read theology at Durham. Ellen and her husband Rob first came to All Saints over ten years ago. They have one son, Jonathan.
Pam has been one of our two churchwardens for the last three years, as well as being our Safeguarding officer. She is also training to be licensed as a Lay Minister. By background she is a chartered psychologist and counsellor.
